Challenging Nicklaus design that's a must-play
One of three courses designed by Jack Nicklaus for the Mission Hills group, Mission Hills Golf Club Kanchanaburi is situated on a gently sloping hillside and features mature palms that line the fairways. The course's hazards consist of water, sand, trees, and Nicklaus' specialty, waste bunkers. While it's a challenging course, the choice of five well-spaced sets of tees allows players of all abilities to give a good account of themselves.
To avoid double bogeys, players should steer clear of the thick Bermuda grass near the bunkers. Five of the holes offer double fairways, providing different approaches to the green, and there's enough water in play to keep you on your toes.
The course's par-5 holes are among the best, with the 8th being a long, well-bunkered hole with a beautiful stretch of water and reeds running down the right side from tee to green. The 12th is also a long hole with a wide creek dividing the fairway from tee to green. The 17th is a strategically challenging par-4 that requires an approach shot to an island green.
Surrounded by jungle-clad hills and rural countryside, this Kanchanaburi golf course offers spectacular scenery. The large timber-clad clubhouse serves decent food, but the on-site golf resort is only average. However, thanks to its great design and idyllic views, Mission Hills Golf Club Kanchanaburi is a mustplay course, for anyone in the Kanchanaburi region.

Too much water for the average golfers. Had to play behind a group of 6 players who were quite ignorant. Won't be back to play here.Probably the best course in the area
The golf course is currently in excellent condition, and you will really enjoy this classic Jack Nicklaus design. For me, Mission Hill is currently the best that the region around Kanchanaburi has to offer the ambitious golfer. The harmonious overall package attracts us again and again here..Total Wreck! - do not even consider playing here
The clubhouse is totally dilapidated and hardly anyone around - I don't know why they bother to keep it openCourse Info
